Holotype: INPA-H 31866, adult ♂, collected by V.T. Carvalho and R.R. Rojas, on 26 June 2012 at 16:35 h.

Type locality: “forest remnants of the campus of the Universidade Federal do Amazonas—UFAM (03° 05' 56"S, 59°58' 09" W), municipality of Manaus, Amazonas State”.
