Purpose[edit]
Adds a dagger symbol ("†") to the text, to indicate extinction.
Usage[edit]
The use of this template is unrecommended. It's mainly kept for interwiki compatibility with other Wikimedia sister projects. Instead please simply add the "†" symbol directly into the text. If for some reason you want to use this template anyway, add it as {{extinct}}
