  • Paratypes: CMK 12030 (3), CMK 13025 (3), ZRC 40290 (2), ZRC 40291 (6), ZRC 40292 (18)

Type locality: Thailand, Narathiwat Province, Mae Nam Tod Deng, about 6 kilometers north of Sungai Kolok, open area in swamps ca. 100–200 metres south before bridge.

Etymology: pi: form a shape that resembles the Greek letter π (pi).
